We survive heartache by

God’s grace

His unconditional love

By refusing to quit

By letting go of what we thought should be

And trusting in what God knows will be

By knowing He is present

Even when we can’t feel him

By trusting He surrounds us

Not just in moments of glory

But also, in moments of despair

Having faith, even when we don’t want to, when everything seems dark

We survive because no matter what

He never gives up on us

Even when we give up on Him

He does not promise a life without heartache and pain

But He does promise to always be there

Even in the moment of the in-between,

The time of patience and waiting

That time when we are most likely to question God

He is there, and He just asks us to hold tight &
