1 Chronicles 16:11 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

Do you just need a win?  Do you feel like you are trying hard in all areas of your life but are feeling something is missing?  You work hard, exercise, are kind to others and yet you feel stuck like it is ground hog day. Nothing is changing. You are holding on, pushing forward, but you are tired. You really have nothing to complain about, but you also don’t have anything to get excited about.

The enemy wants you to lose hope. He would like you to forget what hope feels like. He doesn’t want you excited about life. He wants you to feel like a failure and have no purpose. If you believe that nothing in your life is a win, the enemy wins. His goal is to keep you focused on all that is not going well and to have a constant stream of words going through your head like hard, tired, struggle, lonely and failing. As you make those words a daily habit in your vocabulary you lose site of all that is wonderful.

You may be in a rut but you can come out of it. Refocus your attention. Remind yourself that you are relevant and that you are amazing. God wants you to see that and internalize that. You have so many wins. You just need to remind yourself of them. Shine the light on all that is going well. Push forward. Keep trying. You may not see an end in site, but with each new day you are moving closer to something better.

Take a moment remind yourself that

You are relevant

You have purpose

You are strong

You are energized

You are loved

You are successful

Prayer Father God,

Thank you for being my strength. Thank you for reminding me to look to You for guidance. Forgive me for doubting You. Forgive me for questioning You. May I lean on You and not turn away. There are wins. They may not always be obvious, but there are wins. May I spend more time with You, have faith in You, know that all will work out. Amen
